Four engineers from the Metropolitan Vickers company get off a boat in the docks at Harwich - they had been held for trial in Moscow, (Soviet Union, USSR, Russia). They line up - Mr Monkhouse, Mr and Mrs Nordwell, Mr Gregory, and Mr Cushney.

A crowd has gathered on the platform to greet the home coming workers and they are given a great cheer. One of the group stands before a microphone and expresses his thanks to the people and Government of Britain for their aid.
