How Would a Samurai Master Fight with a Longsword? (Shocking Findings)

Seki Sensei is a Kobudo master with more than 40 years of experience in training with Japanese katana. However, none of us have any experience with Western swords. But I thought it might be interesting to hand a longsword to Seki Sensei, who doesn’t know anything about it, and see how he would try to use it. So today, Seki sensei, the 22nd headmaster of Kobudo Asayama Ichiden Ryu with 400 years of history, will try fighting with a longsword with zero experience and knowledge.
