It’s my second time to visit Tianhe District, so I decided to copy the walking route of my first Tianhe Walking. It is thriving with many new developments, including skyscrapers, stadium, grand shopping malls. It is also home to the oldest urban village Shipai as well as most expat communities. The district serves as a transportation hub for the airport and the train to Hong Kong. Travelers can visit the landmark buildings such as Guangzhou International Finance Center and Guangzhou Opera House, go shopping in Tianhe Road, and taste local food such as steamed vermicelli roll, trotter noodles and oyster porridge. It is also one of the best neighborhoods to stay for first-time travelers to Guangzhou. Tianhe District is rich in tourism attractions including Guangzhou World Grand, South China Botanical Garden, Guangdong Museum, Lu Lake, Tianhe Park and so on. You may need 1-2 days for Tianhe District travelling. The best time to visit Tianhe District Guangzhou is from October to December. The climate in Tianhe District belongs to the maritime subtropical monsoon climate.
