NJPW Japanese Fans FINALLY Cheer Again!
#njpw #njburning #korakuenhall
After 2 1/2 years of restrictions, Japanese NJPW fans finally are allowed, if only for this special event in special sections (which turned out to be the whole place by the end of it), to cheer again for their favorite wrestlers and boo ... well, the House of Torture.
During New Japan’s Burning Spirit series, a special event was held at Korakuen Hall where certain sections were allowed to vocalize. This seemed to quickly spread through the rest of the arena as match after match saw wrestlers be able to get fan reactions from their signature spots. From Minoru Suzuki’s “kazi ni nare“ to Toru Yano’s call for “break, break, break“ to full-throated chants of “Naito! Naito!“, New Japan’s Japanese audience were able to get back a piece of what has been lost during the pandemic.
This is my review of NJPW’s Burning Spirits special show from Korakuen Hall.
