TIMLESS VIBES -“CASSIOPEIA“- HANDPAN, SITAR, DUDUK Timeless Vibes is the collaborative project of experimental guitar and sitar player Dmitry Skvortsov, eastern woodwinds and reeds master Pavel Novikov (Pravin) and leading Russian ethnic percussionist Andrey Tanzu. The genres of Trio performance range from traditional classic Indian ragas and Arabic Maqams to freejazz, funk and experimental soundscapes. Timeless Vibes performances contain long, slowly growing compositions, which are mostly a result of interactive improvisation - the dialogue between musicians and their instruments, experiments with live recorded sound loops, sound effects and musical forms.
