How to Import and Export Routes With the BMW Motorrad Connected App

In this video, BMW Motorrad How-To shows you how to import, share and export your favourite routes with the BMW Motorrad Connected app. If you want to share a route you have already planned in the app, simply click in the top right corner and select “Export GPX”. Then select how you wish to share this GPX file: for example via wireless ad-hoc connections like Airdrop or Nearby Share, email or messenger. If a route is stored on a BMW Motorrad Navigator or in the Basecamp software, you can easily transfer it to the BMW Motorrad Connected app. To do so, connect the Navigator to your laptop via USB and open Basecamp. Select the desired route, export it and send it to your smartphone, for example via email. Download the file on your smartphone, and open the BMW Motorrad Connected app. On the third ‘tab’, click on ‘Planned’ and then ‘Route import’.
