The Desk of Ladyada - RP2040 Tester bringup & LCD QT revisions

This week we got our RP2040 Tester Brains board prototypes and we’re beginning the bring-up process. We wrote a test program to try out various elements like the LCD, NeoPixely backlight, and SD card. Then we verified the USB host with an enumeration test. Next up is getting AVR programming, then SWD and finally RP2040 using a ’port’ of picotool. We’re also still doing massive numbers of revisions - this week we are revising one of our oldest breakouts, the I2C/SPI LCD backpack. We’ll QTify it and while we’re there also make some stylistic/usability tweaks. The Great Search - A Nice and Easy SMT Trimmer Pot This week we worked on redesigning a very old breakout board, the I2C/SPI LCD Backpack: . We’re going to add plug-n-play STEMMA QT ports and since we’re doing a bit of work why not fix up a bunch of other things that have been annoying to us? Let’s look for an alternative that’s easier for folks to adjust! #deskofladyada #thegreatsearch #adafruit Visit the Adafruit shop online - ----------------------------------------- LIVE CHAT IS HERE!
