Lexus IS300 & IS200 Drift. Toyota Altezza good for drifting? SXE10, GXE10, JCE10

The first generation Lexus IS, also known as Toyota Altezza in Japan, is a midsize sedan and wagon for sale from 1998 to 2005. It had a front-engine and RWD configuration. A hatchback station wagon version was available for this model, known as the Altezza Gita in Japan and Lexus IS SportCross in other parts of the world. The IS 300 comes with Toyota’s NA 2JZ straight-six, and manual transmission and limited-slip differential as option. The IS 200, available in some parts of the world, equipped a less powerful inline-6 engine producing 155 horsepower. In Japan, the Toyota Altezza also was available with a 2.0 L straight-four (3S-GE) engine, this naturally aspirated high revving engine produced 210 hp. Double wishbone suspension is used both at the front and at the rear. This type of suspension provides good performance and driving comfort.
