Caught on Camera: Video captures DPS trooper get shot, injured at Frisco apartment complex

The Dallas Morning News has obtained exclusive video of the shootout at La Valencia at Starwood in Frisco. In the video, you can see a DPS officer exchanging several shots with the suspect behind his patrol SUV. He eventually is shot and is seen limping, then falls down. More police cars and several armed officers show up to assist him. A tree is blocking the shooter from the camera’s view. Read more -
