Mazda 3 2014 Touchscreen Display Issue - Simple fix

There is a known issue with the Dashboard Display on Mazda 3 models from 2014 onwards. Due to a manufacturing error the touchscreen can become unreliable and sends ghost touches to the CMU causing the display to jump around like crazy. Unfortunately although Mazda know about the problem they will not fix it free if the car is out of warranty. I was quoted in excess of £750 to supply and fit a replacement unit when my own display became unusable. I managed to procure and self fit a working replacement unit
