Precision tools production: Excellent interaction of the KR AGILUS and KUKA software

The Hartmetall-Werkzeugfabrik Paul Horn GmbH from Tübingen first started out their automation project on their own, designing and planning plants including their gripping technology. To program the robots and PLC in the overall concept, including commissioning at a global level, Horn then brought an experienced partner in the field of application engineering on board, via KUKA’s Customer Service. Paul Horn GmbH decided to equip the systems with a KR AGILUS to automatically mount indexable inserts from a wide range of product families on a pallet and feed them to the CNC machine.
