Bach Chaconne BWV 1004 Theme and variations 1 & 2 - Arranged & played on LEHO ukulele by Colin Tribe

The Partita in D minor for solo violin (BWV 1004) by Johann Sebastian Bach was written between 1717 and 1720. The Chaconne is the 5th movement of the piece. Here is a live version of the opening with high G tuning which necessitates some rather difficult fingering and I contemplated getting a soprano instrument to play it on more easily but have persevered on a concert size. It is a piece I will revisit every day as it is both a joy to play and wonderful finger workout. I consider this recording a work in progress.
