The Chinese Are Cloning Russian Optics! Novus PDS-1 (Russian 1p87 Clone)

Today I’ll be going over the PDS-1 made by Novus Optics, a clone of the Russian 1P87 red dot. Novus is a branch of MOS Manufacturing, the same company that owns E&L and Arcturus, who make Airsoft guns I’ve had great success with, and use frequently at MilSim West events. Initially I thought that Novus was making Airsoft quality replica optics, but was quickly corrected when they told me that these were meant for use on real guns, and their quality would reflect that. (CHALLENGE ACCEPTED) Novus sent me one of their PDS-1 optics for a review, along with a real 1P87 for a comparison. In today’s video I’ll be going over my experience with this optic, how it compares to the original Russian 1P87, and whether or not I believe these are good for use on real guns.
