George Dalaras & Yehuda Poliker

First appearing in Israel for George Dalaras in 1987 performing with the Israeli singer Yehuda Poliker. There are three songs here: First is “Min mou thymoneis matia mou“ or “Don’ t be angry with me my dear“ in English. A song written by Stauros Kougioumtzis, one of the greatest Greek composers. The second song is called: “Alla mou len ta matia sou“ which means: “Deceived by your eyes“ in a very free translation. This song, created by Theodoros Derveniotis (music) and Kostas Manesis (lyrics), talks about how a man may suffer the capricious and whimsical behaviour of the woman he loves.
