China’s steel exports fired up on red-hot overseas demand

Robust foreign demand for Chinese steel products, is helping firms offload some of their surplus amidst weak domestic demand. One steel company in central China’s Hubei Province said they’ve restarted their export business for the first time in 10 years. Higher margins in foreign markets are also helping Chinese steel companies retain their business. Industry data shows China exported nearly 60 million tons of steel products from January to August this year, up more than 28 percent from last year. __________________ ShanghaiEye focuses on producing top-quality contents.
