Stage 1: Here we experience the first signs of memory loss. Most memories are unharmed, some less faded than others, and overall mood is the same.

This is where memories begin to tangle, distort and decay beyond recognition and give way to rupture. This is the final stage of lucidity and only the finest moments of your life have been partially remembered. There’s no turning back, from here things only get worse.

Stage 5: A horrible plaque advances throughout the mind as weeds do in a garden, the unfamiliar may seem familiar. Occasionally repetition and rupture will give way to temporary states of mental clarity, and speech if at all is just random words jumbled together. This is the final stage before the patient is bed ridden. The final struggle before they forget how to forget, and forget they’ve ever forgotten.
