Through the spin of the Sufi dance, the dervishes capture the love of the universe and spread it out into the world. A dervish dancer wanders through a desert landscape and discovers an entrance to a cave. There, a surreal world opens for him in which everything is in motion. Vibrant landscapes are upside down and he loses himself in his spiritual dance, becoming one with his surroundings. Achmad Dede, an Islamic sheik and one of the main characters of Sufism, is one of the most respected dervishes. After listening to “Catharsis” for the first time, he immediately felt that the producer of the track must be a very spiritual person and inspired dance master Tahsin Sürücü, his son Hamza and his nephew Ebubekir to create a dance performance for the music video of “Catharsis”.
