Sand Digger Wasp vs. Parasitic Fly Pt.3 ジガバチの獲物を狙う寄生ハエ#3 持久戦

The nerve-racking waiting game lasted long between the parasitic flies and the female of red-banded sand digger wasp (either Ammophila infesta or A. sabulosa nipponica, family Sphecidae). In order to individualize the wasp, the hiding wasp was directly marked with azure paint on her back (and wing tips, unintentionally). After waiting for the parasitic stalkers to leave from the nesting site, the digger wasp began to carry the cached prey toward her nest again. Образовательные видео в сообществе
