This album is a collection of various old poems I’ve grown personally fond of, from Hávamál, Völuspá, Sigrdrífumál. Some poems are also written by skalds such as Egil Skallagrimsson & Þórir Jökull Steinfinnsson. The eight song is written based on an archaeological find in Bergen, Norway. And is a “love poem“ of some kind, it was a piece of wood with runic inscriptions on it, given as a gift to someone.
