But I kind of have mixed feelings about Clair de Lune. On the one hand, it is incredibly beautiful and enjoyable to play; on the other hand, it always makes me feel so emotional that it’s quite hard to get through. Something about it always cuts right through me. I love the imagery as well, I am a night owl and have always loved the sight of the moon in the night sky. There is something so magical about seeing the glow of moonlight. I think this piece really captures that feeling perfectly.
