Russia’s Aerospace Force Received Upgraded A-50U Early Warning and Control Aircraft

Rostec State Corporation has delivered an upgraded A-50U early warning and control aircraft system or AWACS, known as “Mainstay“ by NATO, to the Russian Aerospace Force. This upgrade is a joint effort involving Roselektronika and the United Aircraft Corporation and represents the latest version of the airborne long-range radar surveillance and guidance system, A-50U, for the Armed Forces.
