Slow Blues GROOVE in Dropped-D w/ Sweet LICKS

Tuesday Blues #240 - If you play in standard tuning most of the time, you really should check out alternate tunings and the quickest one to get into is Dropped D. You lower your sixth string to a D note and then you’re off to the races. In this lesson, we’ll have a look at a 12 bar blues groove in Dropped-D Tuning. This one might take some practice because of the fancy fretwork, but the work is worth it. Keep at it and nail those flashy licks with tons of expression that you hear in the video. Dropped D is a great way to challenge yourself because certain chord shapes will change and let’s face it, that low growl from the guitar, is really nice! Want the TAB?
