JESUS WARNS US (& MUSLIMS): Believing in Me Will NOT be Easy! “You will lose Life, Family & Friends“

Why does Jesus say he has come to bring a sword? Jesus was speaking of the division his coming would cause, that will by the outcome of his coming divide many. Families will be divided, friendships will divide because of it. Belief in Jesus is a matter of faith and those who do not believe tend to regard us who do as somewhat distant or divided. So the context of what Jesus is saying is that he recognises that not everyone will acknowledge him and that there will be a division between them and believers.
