WRC 2002: Round 14 Great Britain (Highlights)

The finale of 2002 World Rally Championship. Petter Solberg claimed his first ever WRC victory on this event and managed to snatch second place from Richard Burns. For long it looked like its gonna be another victory for Marcus Grönholm, but he made a rare error on day 2 and rolled his car resulting in a retirement. Despite this crash his dominance in 2002 was mesmerizing. He had more points than Solberg and Sainz combined. Markko Märtin fought long and hard with Solberg, but he would have to wait for his first rally victory. Märtin was second and his team mate Carlos Sainz claimed 3rd in the rally and in the championship. Tommi Mäkinen was fourth and Colin McRae fifth. British champion Mark Higgins took the last point by finishing 6th on a Ford Focus. I do not own any content used in this video. Content belongs to their respectful owners.
