Acne Studios Women’s Spring Summer 2024 show

Acne Studios presents its Women’s Spring Summer 2024 show collection. After-hours liberation. An exploration of the artefacts of dressing, informed by the work of Katerina Jebb and her scanned Physical Evidence of a Woman series. A soft-furnished lounge made entirely of ecru canvas, illuminated by a deconstructed disco ball designed by Alice Kirkpatrick. A place to lose track of time and inhibitions, with a magical mood of anticipation. Guests sit on soft furnishings by Austrian artist Lukas Gschwandtner, with show music by electronic duo Giant Swan. The show was held at L’Observatoire de Paris, the city’s historic astronomical observatory. “The industrial mood this season comes mostly from my passion for denim and the many ways we can manipulate this amazing fabric. It also comes from the idea of a construction site: things are unfinished, a work in progress.
