Rabbits For Sale. Part of issue WHEELSPIN TO WILTON! Location of events unknown. A young woman walks along a residential street carrying an open umbrella over her head, with several (dead) rabbits hanging from the spokes. It looks extremely barmy - can this be for real or is it just a Pathe gimmick?! She goes up to one of the houses and sells one to a woman who lives there. C/U of an old man with a beard who looks amused by the sight. C/U of a tabby cat looking intrigued then running across the road. Another woman in the street buys the last rabbit and the rabbit seller girl puts down her umbrella. Inevitably, commentator says “It’s a case of hare today, gone tomorrow“ (groan!).
