A video per week, plus many shorts - This is the first single from my upcoming album! Craving My Affection was born when I was learning a tutorial on how to make “Blinding Lights“ by The Weeknd. Once I had some of the synth sounds and drum beats he used in my DAW this melody came to mind. I began constructing this song out of basically nothing. The lyrics came to me long after the music was in place. It was inspired by a story from many years ago, with my last band Trike. We had a fan who was initially quite a fan of our music but her adoration turned to loathing and within no time she was acting quite obsessive. She would call me at four am screaming at me. Needless to say, those days are long gone. I haven’t seen her in several years (thank god) but now the song exists.
