The cultural time! Live stream from Antonio Vivaldi Night Concert at Annenkirche Lutheran Church in St Petersburg, Russia. The Four Seasons (Italian: Le quattro stagioni) is a group of four violin concertos by Italian composer Antonio Vivaldi, each of which gives musical expression to a season of the year. These were composed around 1718−1720 and it is turned to be the most famous Vivaldi’s work. Annenkirche (St Anne’s Church) is a Lutheran church in Saint Petersburg, Russia. It was built in 1775-1779 by Georg Friedrich Veldten for the German community in a Neoclassical style with Ionic columns. In 2002 there was the fire in Annenkirche. The church was significantly damaged inside and even though it looks good from outside, it is still not completely restored inside. This is what makes Annenkirche look very unusual and “post-apocalyptic”. At the moment the project of a final restoration suppose not to restore the interior of the building to its original look, but to fix its post-fire look. The works must be finished in 2025.
