Chinese Astronaut Plays Traditional Instrument in Space for Lantern Festival Gala

Chinese female astronaut Wang Yaping played a song with guzheng, a traditional Chinese musical instrument, in the space station for the Lantern Festival Gala that was aired across China Tuesday evening. Wang, one of the three astronauts on board China’s space station core module, played the popular Chinese folk song Jasmine Flower as a special intro to kick off the show.
