DIY Nature Inspired MIXED MEDIA CANVAS with Birch Twigs & Alder Cones in Winter Colors - Video tutorial. List of supplies: This canvas was inspired by the first snow this year that came this week. I just picked up some birch twigs and made a small wreath and then I added some alder cones with hot glue. I used burlap mesh, wrinkled paper, stencils and sand effect paste to create texture. The lovely stencil with reindeer and the “glitter flakes“ are from Aliexpress. The paint I used are acrylic paints made by various brands.
