Ukrainian pilots intercept russian fighter jet with swedish JAS 39 Gripen

The Headquarters of the Ukrainian Armed Forces disclosed the recent violation of Ukrainian airspace by four Russian aircraft. It didn’t take long for the Ukrainian pilot to quickly push two JAS 39 Gripen fighter jets to intercept two Su-27 Flanker fighter jets and two Su-24 Fencer attack planes. The Saab JAS 39 Gripen is a fourth-generation Swedish single-engine multi-role fighter. The C and D fighter jet variants have a wide canopy that can accommodate two people. The Gripen C-series can perform a variety of air-to-air, air-to-surface and reconnaissance missions due to its advanced weapons.
