Signore, mio Dio, io Ti ringrazio che hai portato a termine questo giorno; io Ti ringrazio che hai dato riposo al corpo e all’anima. La Tua mano era su di me e mi hai protetto e difeso. Perdona tutti i momenti di poca fede e tutte le ingiustizie di questo giorno e aiutami a perdonare tutti coloro che sono stati ingiusti con me. Fammi dormire in pace sotto la Tua protezione e preservami dalle insidie delle tenebre. Ti affido i miei cari, Ti affido il mio corpo e la mia anima. Dio, sia lodato il Tuo Santo nome, Amen. Evening Prayer Lord, my God, I thank You that You have brought this day to an end; I thank You that You have given rest to body and soul. Your hand was upon me and You protected and defended me. Forgive all the moments of little faith and all the injustices of this day, and help me to forgive all those who have been unjust to me.
