This is a high-energy intense Kuchipudi dance that describes Lord Shiva’s cosmic dance Rudra Tandava, illuminating his physical appearance and his power as the embodiment of consciousness. Choreographed and performed by Shwetha Subraya, Bhavana Channavajjala, Sahiti Rachakonda, this Indian classical dance piece depicts Lord Shiva’s anger as he burns Kamadeva to ashes, as well as his kindness when he recognizes the devotion of King Ravana, the original composer of the stotram.
