Fire Fighters Of Vienna (1935)

Titles read: ’FIRE FIGHTERS OF VIENNA’. Vienna, Austria. Opening shot shows smartly uniformed firemen standing to attention while one of them blows a bugle. We then see the firemen demonstrating their firefighting equipment which includes a huge 120 foot ladder. The ladder is set up and one of the men climbs to the top of it. A fireman abseils down the side of a tower and slides down some canvas to the ground. Several men come out of a window in the tower and slide down a canvas ’tunnel’ to the bottom.
