The ’Glass Onion’ Cast on Incredible Ensembles and Murder Mystery Games

From his feature film debut, the high school-set 2005 neo-noir thriller ’Brick,’ it was clear writer-director Rian Johnson had a thing for detective stories and murder mysteries, which also explains why his 2019 film ’Knives Out’ was such a rousing success. The Agatha Christie-styled whodunit starring Daniel Craig as master detective Benoit Blanc earned rave reviews and did gangbusters at the box office, so it was only a matter of time before Johnson surrounded Benoit with another group of eccentric characters and killed one of them off. That’s exactly what happens in ’Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery,’ and ahead of the new film’s release, RT editor Jacqueline Coley sat down to chat with Johnson, Craig, and co-stars Edward Norton, Janelle Monáe, Kathryn Hahn, Kate Hudson, Jessica Henwick, and Madelyn Cline.
