Chaos erupts in Parliament Square between far-right groups and the police

The far-right counter protestors have been clashing on and off with the police for most of the day in Parliament Square. The latest flare up happened around 5pm on Bridge Street when some people walked past with Palestinian flags and were briefly pursued by thugs shouting the football chant “who are ya”. They were quickly surrounded by a huge number of police.
