Nikolay Karelin: “Slow Python: Myth or Curse“

Nikolay Karelin / Systems Architect / VPIphotonics / Belarus. Minsk Nikolay Karelin works with Python since 2007. He is working in VPIphotonics, which develops software for simulation of fiber-optics systems. Nikolay’s principal responsibility is development and support of numerical processing algorithms (both with Python implementation, and also on C/C including NVIDIA CUDA), parallel algorithms and interaction between different parts of complex software. He holds Ph.D. degree in physics (optics).
