I start by tapering the tang using a surface grinder, then move on to the plunge grind and blade edge geometry. The convex edge requires precision and patience to perfect. When it comes to the handle, I use Honduran Rosewood burl for the scales and incorporate brass inserts for both aesthetics and functionality.
