Growing up, Queer artist and author Aina Brei’Yon refused to dim her light as a masc presenting gay woman who was often judged for her difference. However, beneath her external strength belied a deep vulnerability from the abandonment she faced as a child that manifested in her repeatedly cheating on the partners she loved. Exhausted from being emotionally detached, seeking validation from women, and hurting herself and others along the way, by facing her childhood wounds head on, Aina has finally learned to validate herself.
