Israeli forces raid funeral of a Palestinian author and detain members of his family

Video recordings capture the moment Israeli forces raided the funeral of Palestinian author Walid Daqqa, on Monday who died from cancer in Israeli prison. Israeli forces are also seen assaulting, harassing and detaining members of the Daqqa family. Famed for his writing on the Palestinian cause, Daqqa was imprisoned in 1986 and due to be released in 2023 before his sentence was extended. The 62-year-old died after 38 years under Israeli custody.
