Germany: Clashes erupt at anti-COVID restrix rally in Mannheim

Clashes erupted between anti-COVID restriction protesters and police forces in Mannheim during an unauthorised rally of approximately 2,000 participants on Monday. Confrontations escalated when police officers attempted to break up the rally. Police made use of pepper spray and batons when protesters closed in on them, ignoring their warnings. Several protesters were reportedly injured along with six police officers.
