France: Water cannon deployed in Paris as more than 100k join Labour Day rallies nationwide

Subscribe to our channel! Police used water cannon to disperse May Day protesters in Paris, Saturday, after clashes broke out between officers and demonstrators. Footage shows also a General Confederation of Labour (CGT) security agent pepper-spraying other protesters, as syndicalists, yellow vest activists and leftist demonstrators also clashed among themselves during the rally. According to the Ministry of Interior, around 17,000 people protested in the capital and more than 100,000 across France. Police reported 46 arrests and three police officers injured in Paris.
