Mongolia’s new president nicknamed ‘Fist’ beats rivals in landslide victory

Preliminary results on June 9, 2021, show Khurelsukh won nearly 70 per cent of the vote, defeating rivals Enkhbat Dangaasuren from the Right Person Electorate Coalition and Erdene Sodnomzundui of the opposition Democratic Party.
