Oh what a visual treat this is, the beautiful backgrounds and animations really help get the dark stories across. The writing is very clever and drags you in deeper and deeper into the desperate characters that all struggle with their own inner and outer demons and all suffer a similar fate in their relation with the death of other beings and their own dance with death. But the incredible presentation keeps you playing through their misery and depressive stories and you hardly notice that there are not that many puzzles in the game that is more interactive fiction that an adventure. The music perfectly fits and sets the mood of the intertwining stories and is a brave companion on your way down one abyss after the other...
