No-one is Perfect

Getting annoyed, frustrated or sad - these are all normal feelings. But we often allow ourselves to get consumed in the negativity. Why do we hold things against people? Why do we judge? Why do we not forgive? We forget that we’re all flawed - no one is perfect. When we recognise this, we can start to practice kindness and learn how to love these imperfections in everyone we meet. Kindness displaces rudeness, criticism and anger. And by cultivating more kindness, to ourselves and others, we start to experience how the darker parts of life become illuminated by love. In doing so, we open the door to calmer acceptance of ourselves and of others. And we’re also able to enjoy the journey of life, in the company of friends, with more gratitude and forgiveness.
