VLOG 55 - LIFE IN ASHRAM (PUTTAPARTHI, INDIA)

Hey Guys, welcome to my new vlog about our travel to Puttaparthi, India :) Here I’d like to tell you about the life in Ashram, how it is here, how the Ashram apartment look like, various kinds of Canteens, Mandir, Shopping Centre and other activities that happen here. Few notes that are not included in the video.. Apartment: I’ve only shown our apartment where we stay (which are 200 rupees per night). Apart from this type of room you can stay in shared room with 8 people (costs 30 rupees per night), sheds (huge room with many many people, costs about 5-10 rupees per mattress place as far I’m concerned). There’re also a better rooms for 300, 500 and 800 per night (those rooms have hot water, air conditioners and new furniture, walls, etc). If you’re coming and you want to stay in better room, it’s better to mention it beforehand, cause we didn’t say anything and the stuff just gave us this standard room for 200 (and only later on we found out that there’re better quality rooms too). For food, apart from what I’ve shown, you can also get completely free coupon (which you get at the end of each morning’s bhajan on the exit). For that coupon you can eat as much as you wish and completely free 11-13:30. Similar food as you get in South Indian Canteen for lunch for 10 rupees coupon.
