I am obsessed with sketchbooks! I feel that the practice of using a sketchbook to let your little brain express itself is SO HEALTHY for artists of all kinds! Whether you sketch with pencil, or draw with markers, or like to paint with watercolors or acrylics or gouache, sketchbooks are the place to let your creative side run wild with no boundaries, other than the edges of your paper. However, a lot of people make their own fences for their sketchbooks. They have ideas of what they should and shouldn’t do in them and end up feeling like creating in a sketchbook is a stressful experience.
