Three times each swara has been sung in the ascending scale and only once in the descending. 2. ssss-rrrr-gggg .....and so on.. repeting each swara four times in ascending - descending. 3. The ladder of swaras - to listen and repeat the second time. In Ragam Shankarabharnam The focus on listening and repeating the Sapta Swaras. Without Rythm. You need a tambura set to G-Sharp , G-Dot or 5-1/2 shruti Listen, practice until you master i.e. you are able to comfortably reproduce the notes by yourself.
