A pro-Putin Russian MP has called for Euronews to banned in Russia. The demand comes after the European news channel repeatedly broadcast footage of an image depicting Vladimir Putin as Adolf Hitler during a 12 September report on the training activities of Ukrainian partisan groups. United Russia MP Mikhail Markelov has called on Russia’s state communications regulator to investigate the Euronews footage as a possible breach of Russia’s hate crimes legislation, accusing the channel of attempting to ’se
