Carrying the banner: making miniature flags

In this video, I use the War of the Roses banner man made earlier and show how you can create a beautiful and realistically draped hand-painted flag in a fraction of the time usually required for similar results. Foundry paints used in this video: Deep Blue medium Ochre medium Forest Green medium Scarlet light Canvas light Black Advice on paper: Look for unsized Japanese or Chinese brush painting or calligraphy paper. There are many different varieties in different weights. You do not need very high quality paper for this purpose. It should also be as light weight as possible. Look for a thin, almost transparent paper with a soft texture that has a fuzzy edge when you tear it.
